Take a class

You can find me in Los Altos at Yoga of Los Altos, or in San Jose at Downtown Yoga Shala. My classes often integrate methods from other disciples such as pilates, ballet barre, and stick mobility to help students discover new ways of moving and connecting with their bodies. I especially enjoy helping students with limited mobility. My goal as your teacher is to help you feel more connected with your body, mind, and spirit, and to rediscover the joy of movement and the sense of serenity that comes through incorporating mindfulness with movement.

gentle yoga

This class is designed especially for those who are new to yoga, or who may have limited flexibility or range of motion. You will be guided with the aid of props, as I emphasize clear and accessible explanations of each poses in order to build strength and awareness while preventing injury.

 

Offered Tuesdays from 11am-12:15pm 

Thursdays from 10:45am-12pm

vinyasa

This is a slowed down, mindful flow class offers a series of postures which synchronizes breathe with movement. Appropriate for all levels, each class begins with a breathing practice to help you arrive and prepare for your practice, and ends with a 5 minute guided meditation.

yoga sculpt

Yoga Sculpt is a dynamic, Vinyasa based practice designed to both heat the body as well as strengthen and condition it through the aid of resistance bands. These resistance bands allow for targeted strengthening of the key muscle groups which support the asanas, allowing you to safely open up the body and go deeper. This class is designed for yogis of all levels who are looking to break a sweat and take their practice to the next level.
